Our Story

In 1964, Jafar Aquatics, founded by Mr. Kasem Jafar, became the first professional entity in the Middle East to introduce the concept of fish aquariums and pet handling.

Jafar Aquatics introduced a unique platform for pet lovers through a showroom featuring nine eye-catching aquariums — marking the beginning of a new era in aquatic lifestyle.

In 2005, the main showroom expanded to an impressive 400 m² of aqua life, with 160 freshwater aquariums totaling 25,000 liters and 40 marine aquariums holding 6,000 liters of seawater.

A massive 94,000-liter tank housing sharks, rays, and diverse marine species became the showroom’s highlight — the largest indoor tropical fish tank in the world.
